Do you know where your life purpose
is now?
And how can you get there?
Are
you suffering through a life nothing like the one
you once imagined, stumbling ever farther from the
goals you once embraced? Are you trapped in a
relationship where only the others’ needs matter,
and you’re blamed if they’re not satisfied? Where
your own needs for meaning barely rate secondary
consideration?
Have you nearly forgotten the carefree, creative,
purposeful soul you remember as your SELF, long ago?
If so, it’s time to regroup!
It
doesn’t matter how dismal your situation is, how
long your dreams have been delayed or even
abandoned. There is always a spark of light and
hope, because the person you were meant to be is
still inside YOU, waiting for YOU to take action!
Ask
yourself:
How can I discover what is my true purpose in life,
if I’m living in such a terrible relationship?
Relationships prone to violence can exist in each of
our lives. People from all walks of life can and do
find themselves trapped in soul-deadening
relationships. Regardless of their individual
background, they share several PLACES WHERE YOU
COULD BE STUCK IN:
-
Clinging to problem-riddled relationship,
replaces having own goals.
|
-
Confusion—being too focused on his change
potential than in self-centeredness.
|
-
Misguided faith—they keep waiting for the
other to step up to the plate. It never
happens, but they keep hoping, so they can
forget what they themselves were up to.
|
-
Hope—that one day they will have a
healthy relationship instead of the
unhealthy relationship they are trapped in,
|
-
Misinformation—about how aggressive-prone
are some people and what triggers it, so
being a continual victim fill her days,
|
-
Lack of
trust in their own capacity to survive and
thrive independently
|
So
HOW can you escape this sad situation and get back
in track with your own dreams?
Really, it doesn’t matter a lot where you are now.
We are all fundamentally the same. We all want
peace, loving relationships, a sense of meaning and
truth, and to feel in our autumn years that the
world is somehow richer for our presence. SO, look
at the future, and don't look at your past! You are
now in the best place to restart your search for
your own fulfillment!
But where does this sense of fulfillment come from?
And do we have to wait until it’s nearly over before
we realize what’s truly important to us?
Again, what is your true purpose?
Working to discover your true purpose allows you to
find answers to all the other questions keeping you
from happiness. Once you know your purpose, you will
learn to live in the manner most satisfying to YOU.
Purpose is a focus, an intent. Finding your purpose
will allow you to answer: What do I intend to give
to the world?
Do
you wish to leave this planet with things untried,
undone and unsaid? In our heart of hearts, each of
us wants to live passionately according to whom we
truly are at our deepest level, and to strive for
our most noble and beautiful vision of the world.
Each time we go against this deep sense of knowing
and rightness, we eat away at our own energy source
and become compromised human beings. Consciously or
not, we struggle, knowing we are someone who has
settled for less than their best, who has become
jaded, tired and believing more in limitation than
in possibility. And being in an abusive
relationship, you can count on other’s behavior to
divert you from even thinking about your purpose!
Purpose is the acupuncture point of personal
integrity. When we live a purposeful life, our
values, our highest beliefs, and everything that is
meaningful to us come into alignment and we become
the expression of the best part of ourselves.
But how do we make this happen?
How do I discover and seize my individual purpose?
A friend of mine, who eventually died of AIDS, told
me the following story: Back in the days when it
took six weeks to get the results of an HIV test, a
man was convinced he had contracted the virus. One
of his previous partners was HIV positive, so during
the six weeks he waited for his test results, he
made lists of all the things he wanted to do with
the final days of his life – the places he would go,
the people he would meet, and those with whom he
would make amends. By the time his test result
finally came in, he was clear about what he wanted
to do. But it turned out he was free of the virus.
He was overjoyed, and invited his friends to help
him celebrate. Over dinner, he produced his lists,
and was just about to burn them over a candle when
someone asked him what he thought he was doing.
“I'm burning my lists,” he said. “I'm going to live
now. I don't need them anymore.”
“But now you know what you want out of life,” his
friend exclaimed.
“Yes?” the man replied.
“Then why not live it?” his friend asked. “If you
were going to die in a year you would have done
everything on that list. Now that you have 60 years,
you may as well spend your whole life living your
dreams. That’s the most valuable list you could
have.”
Then, the moment to find your purpose is NOW,
because you are asking yourself the right questions
about your own life goals…and you need to connect
with them NOW. The very center of your life purpose
is waiting for you to make the right decision: to
embrace your goals and make them a reality, so you
can begin to live the life you were meant to live!
So, someone out there who can help me to find my
purpose?
YES!
There is a Life Coach waiting for you!
I have learned that as I live my
values and share my joy, I will find a valuable
role in society. What I do is far less
important than my purpose behind it. I am
not my job, my home, my relationship, my car.
Instead, I am the sum of my purpose and life
experience. Everything I have and everything I am
is an extension of my true self – the more I live
my purpose the more meaningful my life becomes.
I have had plenty of money and I
have had none, and I’ve learned that other things
are far more important. What matters is my
purpose, and my actions that follow. I’ve found
that purpose well into my maturity, and I’ve
discovered that a large part of that purpose is to
share this realization with others closer to the
beginning of the path I’ve traveled.
My name is Nora Femenia, and I’ve
chosen to help others take back their lives and
rediscover their purposes. I do so by serving as a
